Dance is an electric mobility subscription service. As a member, you receive your own electric e-bike or e-moped, and access to our round-the-clock maintenance team, who repairs and maintains your vehicle. Every booked repair will be performed within two working days.
If your vehicle can’t get repaired on-site, we will schedule an exchange.
Our flexible memberships include your own electric ride as well as our signature concierge service.
We offer an annual subscription for a minimum duration period of 12 months at a lower monthly price, or our monthly subscription which you can choose to cancel every month. To choose your ride and accessories, click here: https://dance.co/?signup.
Dance delivers bikes and mopeds to selected Dance delivery locations in the city free of charge.
During your signup process, you can choose your preferred pickup location and date. You can pick up your vehicle anytime during the indicated pickup timeslot.
All Dance vehicles are delivered fully assembled and ready to ride.
Our ebikes and mopeds have a removable battery and charger. You can easily plug the charger into any standard power outlet, so you can conveniently charge your ride at home, in the office, or anywhere else. The charging time of the battery is about 3 hours for ebikes and 6-8 hours for mopeds.
Please note that ebikes and mopeds cannot be charged at charging stations for electric cars.
You can add accessories to your Dance ride during check out or via the Dance app at a later stage.

A universal SP Connect smartphone holder comes with all Dance ebikes included in the membership price.
Can be added
You can currently add a basket and a child seat to your ebike during checkout or by booking a repair in the Dance App. Please note: it is not possible to use the Dance bike with both a child seat and a basket at the same time.
E-Mopeds

A universal NIU smartphone holder comes with all Dance emopeds included in the membership price.
Can be added
You can currently add a helmet, a top case, and a long range battery to your moped during checkout or by booking a repair in the Dance App.
Yes, you can get a subscription if you live outside the service area.
Delivery
You will have to pick up your bike at one of our delivery locations inside the service area. You can check the delivery locations on our website when choosing a vehicle during checkout.
Repairs
Please note that repairs can only be performed within the service area. If you need a repair or other service, you have to park your vehicle within our service area. Afterwards you can book a repair in the Dance app.

Cancellation
If you choose to cancel your subscription, you will have to drop off your vehicle at one of our locations inside the service area.




At the moment we do not offer test rides.
However, you can just sign up for Dance membership and try out your new ebike or moped directly upon delivery. If you decide you don’t want it we’ll take it back if you cancel within 24 hours after pick up and you won’t pay any fees.
You can book repairs and maintenance using the Dance app.
Simply lock your vehicle securely in an accessible public place, and a Dance mechanic will repair or replace your ride within two working days.
Our repair service operates Monday to Friday from 08:00 until 18:00, excluding bank holidays.
There’s no need to stay close by - we’ll notify you when it’s ready to collect. You won’t be able to use your bike until the repair is completed.
All repairs are fully covered by standard Dance protection - except damage to mopeds caused by accidents or vandalism.
We’d be sad to see you leave, but if you need to cancel your membership you can do so easily through the Dance app.
To cancel your membership, click "More" in the Dance app, select "Subscription" and then "Cancel subscription" at the bottom. You will be asked to choose a Dance drop-off location for returning your vehicle. You’ll receive further instructions on how to lock your vehicle, where to place your accessories etc. via the app.
If you change your mind, we’d be happy to welcome you back to Dance!
If your vehicle has been stolen, please report it via the Dance app. We'll ask you for details of where you left it and when you last saw or used it. Our team will immediately investigate and keep you informed about the next steps.
When joining Dance, you can choose between two levels of protection: Standard or Extra.
Standard protection
Standard protection is included in your subscription price by default and includes the following benefits:
- E-bikes: Repairs are completely covered. In the event of theft, you only pay a deductible of €300. If the battery is also stolen, you pay €500. The only condition is that you properly lock your bike.
- Mopeds: Repairs are fully covered, except in the case of accidents, or vandalism. In the event of theft, the deductible is €1,800 - as long as you properly lock the moped. The moped subscription also includes liability insurance for personal injury and property damage.
Extra protection
- E-bikes: Repairs and theft of the bike are fully covered - as long as you properly lock the bike. If the bike battery gets stolen, you pay €200. You don’t have to pay a deductible in the event of damage or theft and only pay €9.99/month.
- Mopeds: Repairs, damage (including accidents, or vandalism), and theft are fully covered. You don’t have to pay a deductible in the event of damage or theft and only pay €14.99/month. The only condition is that you’ve properly locked the vehicle. Liability insurance for personal injury and property damage is also included.
In both protection plans, additional fees may apply if your vehicle is not brought in for repairs or optional accessories need to be replaced. A detailed list of all fees can be found here.
Yes. The forfait mobilité durable (sustainable mobility package) is a scheme that incentivizes the use of sustainable transport. Employers can choose to subsidize employees’ travel costs if they commute with certain vehicles. The FMD covers Dance ebike & moped subscriptions.
If you work in the private sector and your company has registered for the FMD, you can get up to €800 per year towards your Dance subscription. If you work in the public sector, you can claim up to €300.
If your company doesn’t currently offer the FMD, we encourage you to request it. For businesses, FMD payments are exempt from tax and social security contributions. To learn more about FMD, visit the government website.
