Is my Dance vehicle insured, and what is the deductible?
When joining Dance, you can choose between two levels of protection: Standard or Extra.
Standard protection
Standard protection is included in your subscription price by default and includes the following benefits:
Ebikes: Repairs are completely covered. In the event of theft, you only pay a deductible of €300. If the battery is also stolen, you pay €500. The only condition is that you properly lock your bike.
Mopeds: Repairs are fully covered, except in the case of accidents, or vandalism. In the event of theft, the deductible is €1,800 - as long as you properly lock the moped. The moped subscription also includes liability insurance for personal injury and property damage.
Extra protection
Ebikes: Repairs and theft of the bike are fully covered - as long as you properly lock the bike. If the bike battery gets stolen, you pay €200. You don’t have to pay a deductible in the event of damage or theft and only pay €9.99/month.
Mopeds: Repairs, damage (including accidents, or vandalism), and theft are fully covered. You don’t have to pay a deductible in the event of damage or theft and only pay €14.99/month. The only condition is that you’ve properly locked the vehicle. Liability insurance for personal injury and property damage is also included.
In both protection plans, additional fees may apply if your vehicle is not brought in for repairs or optional accessories need to be replaced. A detailed list of all fees can be found here.
